great throw back horn
Yes this horn smells a little like rubber, but hey you are outside! People need to learn to relax. The horn is pretty loud and that makes it awesome. Make sure that when you secure the horn to the bike that you have reinforecements. Love this purchase of mine!

Product Description
Clarabell's Horn You get two tones (one squeezing, the other while the bulb inhales) from this retro bike horn, whose tone is much more a Clarabellian quack (see Howdy Doody if you're too young) than a deep Harpo Marxian (ditto) honk. Which is good on a bicycle. Measures 8" long with a 2-3/8" bell and a rubber bulb that will be either red, black, or purple. Includes a removable handlebar mount. Top to learn more
Classic-Looking & Classic-Sounding, Too!
I actually ordered this bike horn as a novelty "buzzer" for one team on a quiz I was organizing a while ago. However, once it had served the purpose I bought it for, I rehomed it with a friend's daughter to use with her new bike and she was very happy to receive it. The horn I received was the red one, and it's well-made and very classic-looking; just what you expect a bike horn to look like. Even better, it sounds just as you'd expect a bike horn to sound, and it's LOUD! It has two slightly different tones, both of which are loud, squeaky quacking noises. You get one note when you squeeze the bulb and another as air is sucked back into it in reverse. Should you happen to be looking for a bike horn, you can't really go wrong with this one.
